Mataia Homestead offers accommodation for up to 10 people.
The double storey house features accommodation in four bedrooms upstairs including three rooms with queen-sized beds and one room with twin single beds. One shared bathroom with toilet, shower and clawfoot bath is also located upstairs.
Another bedroom with twin single beds is located downstairs along with another toilet in the main hallway and another bathroom with toilet and shower in the back laundry area.
The front formal drawing room boasts a mini-grand piano and open fireplace. A cozy library down the hallway features a variety of books, board games, a television and DVD player.
A formal dining room with large open fire connects onto a relaxed open-plan living room and well equipped kitchen. From here you can spill out onto the large deck via bi-fold doors and enjoy an evening meal or BBQ.
Outdoor living equipment (umbrellas, deck chairs etc) can be found in the back porch, along with full laundry facilities (washing machine, tub).
All linen is provided.
Historic Homestead Weddings and Events
Mataia Homestead will soon be available for weddings, events and special functions. Do-it-yourself or we'll organise it for you. From big scale to small, it's up to you.
The gardens feature several beautiful ceremony spots and there is plenty of room to put up a marquee on any of the lawn areas.
Camping space is available in the adjacent paddock and the house is completely booked out for your exclusive use for the entire duration of your event - be it one evening, a whole weekend, or longer!
